We were so surprised to have found this amazing gem of a place to stay. It is more like a boutique bed and breakfast (minus having to get up for the breakfast because they just give you a basket of food that is well stocked and replenished each day so you can eat whenever you feel like it - loved that!). There were a lot of nice details put into refurbishing the rooms so that there was no mold smell at all, despite being over 300 years old! The furnishing and decor were wonderful with an incredibly comfortable bed. I can't say enough about the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff, Marie was awesome! They do little things like welcoming you in advance of your stay to make you feel invited and thought of, and there are real people to respond to you when you write back. They respond immediately with a lot of help with any questions you ever have. AND it is in a great part of Bath, really easy walking distance to everything! When I 'googled' the street, it looked a little funky and maybe not very nice, but it was not that way at all, it's a great street! This has been the best place we've stayed thus far in England with a great price for what you get. I can't recommend it enough!

It was awesome. I was in love with my suite the minute I stepped in. I loved the Georgian decor/theme. It was clean and spacious and it's right in the middle of town. Very accessible and close to the Abbey and Roman Baths. I 100% look forward to staying there again on my next trip to Bath.

My wife and I loved staying at the Halcyon Apartments. They are ideally located in the heart of Bath, a short 12-minute walk from the station. The service was extremely courteous, the manager has been very helpful in answering all our questions and letting us check in early (we arrived at 11 in the morning). The apartments are luxurious, with everything one could wish for - comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, tea and coffee, and a magnificent view of the city. We would definitely come back here again.

Definitely worth the price! A few complaints but over all a great place to stay. The place was up three flights of stairs, hot and dusty. We had the fans running and windows open but it never cooled off. Also, there are no USB ports to charge electronics and very few outlets. Lastly we would have liked a to-go cup for our coffee/tea as we had to leave for a flight early in the AM and had no time to cook the bacon/egg breakfast provided. I do recommend cooking as it’s much cheaper than the $$ restaurant and bar. We enjoyed the separate living, dining, kitchen, bed and bath areas. A bit difficult to get to going through multiple doors and key entries but worth the walk... Location is near the circus and lots of restaurants and shopping is close by. About 10min walk to the station. The decor was fun and newer. Bed was comfy and kitchen had all appliances plus washer/dryer. Couch was super cute but the wool was scratchy. They let you drop bags off early even if your room isn’t ready yet.

Oh my gosh, the MOST charming and CONVENIENT apartment hotel with helpful and friendly owners - they actually came out to the street to meet us, and helped carry our luggage up to the room!!! Of the 7 hotels we stayed at over our trip, this was HANDS DOWN the BEST one. We appreciated particularly how charming the rooms were (a historical building), the selection of breakfast foods/ drinks with fresh bread, jams and fruit, plus the large size of the rooms. It is steps away from the main shopping area with plentiful restaurants and cafes, and an easy walk to the Romans baths, the Jane Austen center, and the Royal Crescent. There's a large supermarket about a 15 min walk away, and a mini refrigerator in the room. The owners gave us a large tourist map of Bath that elsewhere I saw selling for £5. Here's an example of their customer service - we visited Britain during a heat wave, and stayed at some pretty expensive hotels (Brighton, Welsh coast, London). This was the only hotel which had fans *already in the room* and a functioning a/c unit in the master bedroom.

Great apartment. Perfect for what we needed and good location at top of town. Kitchen area is great if you don't want to eat out every meal. Only observation would be that it would be useful if kitchen was a bit better equipped. E.g. more than one mug per person, etc. Note also that as from early 2017 breakfast is via a hamper brought to your room. This was great and suited us but does mean having a bit more in way of pots, pans and crockery would be useful. Overall lovely stay though and nicely furnished with lots of space.

Seriously impressive apartment in a fantastic location. Hosts have put a lot of effort into presenting these spaces and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here for a night. Some issues with the televisions and signal but apart from that I cannot fault it. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

Amazing amazing and a very beautiful place to stay. Spotless and equipped with everything you need. The breakfast box is a lovely touch and I have to say the coffee is just the best. The accommodation is so central to the shops and a short walk to places ie the royal crescent. Bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. Would definitely stay again and already recommended to family and friends
